It’s a strange feeling doing an update about the contest when I am actually the winner. My first ever Grand Slam win, to tell you the truth it’s a huge relief, I have finished 3rd in Arica 3 times before, but I knew I had a win in me.

It’s such a rewarding feeling when you have to sacrifice so much family time. My wife is such an amazing mum and half of this win is because of her. Thankyou, I love you. Now I’m off to have my 1st beer in 5 months.

Thanks to everyone for all the support, this chile contest had been the best contest on the tour and I’m looking forward to coming back next year.

Off to Peru tonight for Peru Inka Challenge.
